Are you looking for a fun hobby to share with your kids in this technology driven age? Want to get them away from the video games yet still capture their interest?

My-Photo-Video has found a way to let your kids have fun at the computer, while enjoying the outdoors.

Beginning this Friday, we will have short (longer than a Tweet, but shorter than this blog post) lessons and assignments that are fun for you and your child.

Photo & Video 101 will start at the very beginning, when you open up the camera, with topics such as:

  • how to hold the camera
  • getting to know the features of your camera
  • how to post to Facebook
  • how to set the resolution

and go all the way through

  • video at sporting events
  • editing photo & video together in a home movie
  • color correcting your photos & video

Each week we will have a short lesson and simple assignment.

The following week we learn how to critique our own photos, learn the next super-quick lesson, and receive the next assignment.

These lessons, while aimed at kids, are written with adults in mind as well. The 72 year-old using their first digital camera will appreciate it as much as the 8 year old.
